Three winners of County wide spelling bee

Woodlawn hosted the Cleveland County Spelling Bee on Tuesday, January 17th, where ten students from Cleveland County School District and Woodlawn School District competed for county champion.  The bee consisted of seven total rounds with Woodlawn eighth grader, Rhett Hendricks, being crowned the Cleveland County Spelling Bee Champion. The Bee concluded with tie breaker rounds that resulted in Allie Fugate, a seventh grade Woodlawn student, being named second place winner, and Allison Garrison, a fourth grade Woodlawn student placing third. First, second, and third place winners received ribbons and a gift card provided by FBT.
