Woodlawn's community came together this past Saturday, February 10th, to honor the incredible talents and achievements of their student-athletes at the annual Football & Cheer Sports Banquet. Among the highlights of the evening were the outstanding accomplishments of both the competition cheer squad and the powerlifting team.

Coach Heather Hargis took the stage to recognize the remarkable achievement of the competition cheer squad, who earned a cumulative GPA of an impressive 3.932. Furthermore, Coach Hargis acknowledged the following standout cheerleaders:

  •  Sarah Beth Melhorn - 4x All-American
  • Lily White - 5x All-American
  • Chloe Hargis - 6x All-American, 2x Top All-American, 2x All-State, and secured her spot on the All-Star East Cheer Squad.

Meyer proudly announced that Jude Rauls broke the state record in bench press with an astonishing 270 lbs. What's more, Rauls is now only 20 lbs away from shattering the national record.

As the evening progressed, Coach Meyer introduced both the junior high and senior high football teams, taking the opportunity to acknowledge the exceptional talents within each group. Among those honored were:
