It was an eventful week for Bear Athletics. The Lady Bear Basketball team picked wins against Maumelle Charter, Smackover, and Bearden this week to bring their record to 3-1. The Bear basketball team added victories against Smackover and Bearden to bring their record to 3-1. Jude Roberts put on a show against Bearden Thursday night at the Carl Jones Sports Complex putting up a 50 point performance.
The Bear and Lady Bear Basketball Teams are both traveling to Bismarck over the holiday week to play Dumas on Monday. The Lady Bears will then play Bismarck on Tuesday and the Bears will play Dierks.
Friday night, the Bear football team made school history by being the first football team to make a AAA sanctioned state championship game. The Bears defeated the Rector Cougars 68-44. Big performances out of Ethan Saeler and Griffin Manes propelled the Bears offense.
The Bears will travel to War Memorial Stadium to play the Cedar Ridge Timberwolves on Thursday, December 4th at 7:00 pm for the 8-man State Championship!
