Woodlawn Football and Cheer will be hosting the annual Meet the Bears night this Friday at 6:30. This will be followed by the Black/White Scrimmage. Admission will be water, Gatorade, or monetary donations to Woodlawn Football and Cheer. Click on the news story to see the schedule!

The basketball games scheduled for tonight have been postponed. A make-up date will be announced later.
The sports pictures scheduled for tomorrow have been canceled due to the weather. Pictures have been rescheduled as follows:
Football, Cheer, and Cross Country pictures have been rescheduled for Wednesday, December 7th, 2022.
Basketball pictures will rescheduled at a later date.
Parent/Teacher Conferences are today from 2:30 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Students will be dismissed at 1:30 p.m.
This Friday, 8/26 at 6:00p.m., the Woodlawn Football Team will be putting on their Black & White game. This year we will be recognizing all of the football players and cheerleaders in our community! Every football player and cheerleader from kindergarten to 12th grade will be introduced. We will have elementary class races, the cheer teams will perform, and we will conclude with a scrimmage from our Sr. High Bears.
Admission will be Gatorade/Powerade, Protein Bars, water bottles and of course any monetary donations. The concession stand will also be open and ready to serve! Please come out and support all of our kids as we kick off a new football season!
Don't forget to join us for Open House tomorrow, August 11th from 6-8 p.m. Parent/Student Orientation and Registration for 7th grade will begin at 5 p.m. in the gym.
The Woodlawn School District will begin the new early-release Wednesday schedule on the 1st day of school, Wednesday, August the 17th. Reminders will be sent out at Open House on August the 11th. The buses will be running at 2:15 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17th, and every Wednesday afterward for the remainder of the school year. We are excited about seeing the students and looking forward to a great school year!
