Emily Reed and Anna Brown competed in Interior Design and received Gold, qualifying them for National Conference this July in Orlando!

Woodlawn Junior High students attended the Middle School State FBLA conference in Little Rock. All of our competitors did an outstanding job representing our school!
Congratulations to Brit Swan for placing 3rd in Career Exploration and qualifying to compete at FBLA Nationals in Anaheim, California.


Woodlawn High School FBLA and Business students will be hosting a Junk Hunt sale in the high school parking lot Friday, April 11th from 8:00-2:30. The football team will also be selling burger and hot dog lunch plates. This will be a fundraiser for these organizations. Please
come out and support our students!

Prom has been rescheduled for April the 26th at the Pine Bluff Country Club. We will start the Senior walk at 7:00 pm. In order to help alleviate the unexpected costs for our students and parents we would like to ask anyone interested in donating their money or time to reach out to the High School. Mr. Jimmy Edmonds is also doing a pulled pork/burger plate fundraiser on Monday, April 21st at Woodlawn Grocery. We will update on any new developments as they arise. Thank you.

Due to the flooding at Fordyce Schools both the Baseball and Softball games will begin as soon as the teams arrive at the school. Both teams are going to be here around 3:40.

Today's softball game scheduled to be at Hamburg will be played at Woodlawn. The game will start at 4:30 today.

Due to continued weather conditions and multiple flooded roads. We have decided to reschedule Prom for a later date. We want to air on the side of caution. We will update you on the new date and any other changes as soon as we are able. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We are monitoring the weather and are currently checking road conditions for prom tonight. We may end up having to delay the start time or postpone prom but as of right now it is still set to start at 7:00pm. We will update as we gather more information. Thank you.

WSD has a special election coming up on May 13th. There will be two items on the ballet: (1) WSD will seeking a 2-mil increase to bring the total millage up from 37 to 39 mills, (2) We have three candidates running for the WSD School Board.
Be sure to get your voter registration updated so can vote in this election! The last day to update your registration will be April 14th. You can take care of this at the Cleveland County Clerks office.

The School Board meeting originally scheduled for April 14th will be moved to April 15th. The meeting will still be at 7:00 pm at the WSD Cafeteria/Administration building.
