The Woodlawn JR & SR High cheerleaders recently returned from NCA camp hosted by Bank of the Ozark Arena in Hot Springs.

The predominately rookie junior high squad, made up of 16 cheerleaders total, had 9 All-American nominations, 2 finalists for Star jumper, and 4 finalists for Star tumbler. Of these finalists, the squad had one overall 7th Grade Star jumper (Kadence Davis), one overall 7th Grade Star tumbler (Joleene Holland), and one overall 8th grade Star tumbler (Baylee Jones). The squad as a whole won the coveted Achievement Award, awarded to the squad who shows the most growth in cheer skills, motivation, and stunt ability and technique. The squad was the 1st runner-up in Rally Routine and the Game Day Champions.

The senior high squad, consisting primarily of veteran cheerleaders, made a good showing at camp. The 14 girls had 11 All-American nominations with 2 girls making the All-American team (Alivia Nixon and Cain Wilkins). There were two Star jumper finalists with one overall 12th grade Star Jumper (Cain Wilkins). The squad was named the Rally Routine Champions and also the Game Day Champions.
