The Woodlawn Senior Boys Cross Country Team won the 1A/2A South Regional Championship this past weekend at Moro Bay. This is on the heels of the team winning the 1-4A District Champions at the Southeast Arkansas All-Conference Championships on Saturday, October 25, in Monticello.

In Regionals, WHS had three runners place in the Top 10: Brayden Jones, 2nd Place; Isaac Lowe, 6th Place; Dakota Sullivan, 7th Place; with Tucker Hoyt, Justus Lowe, and Carlos Dominguez finishing in the top 20 of the field.

The WJHS Junior Girls team also competed in this race with Abigail Stone placing 4th.

Last week during the Conference Championships, WHS runner, Brayden Jones placed 5th and WJHS runner, Abigail Stone placed 7th. The Woodlawn Bears will compete in the 2A State Championships on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Hot Springs.

The Woodlawn Bears Football Team secured a share of the 8-Man South Conference Championship Friday night with a 60-20 win over Marvel-Elaine. The Bears have also locked up the top seed in the playoffs with the victory.

The Bears will cap off the regular season this Friday with a Senior night matchup with the Brinkley Tigers. With the win Woodlawn will lock up it's first outright Conference Championship since 2007 and it's first undefeated regular season since 2018, which was the first season the Bears played 8-Man football.
