We're streamlining the registration process for all WSD students with the introduction of online registration through PowerSchool. Starting mid-July, registration will be open, and all students must be registered before the first day of school.
To make this transition smooth, we need your help! Please make sure you have a working email address that you check regularly. This email will need to be entered and linked to your student in eschool. If you provided your email during registration for this school year, you're all set!
We will need to be able to correspond with you throughout this process when school is in session and out of session. We will also be corresponding with you through SMS notifications, WSD website, and Facebook. We feel like communication is the key to making this a smooth transition and we look forward to working with each of you to get your student registered and be free of paper packets.

The WES first annual multiplication bee finals were held February 23,2024. Ms. Hannah Watt, fourth grade Math teacher, hosted the event. Third through sixth grade students competed in voluntary classroom rounds. Twenty-seven students advanced to the semi final rounds.

At Last Night's School Board meeting, the board approved to finish out the rest of this year's calendar on an alternative (hourly) schedule. What this means is that instead of counting required school days (178) we will now be counting required hours (1068). By adding an additional 10 minutes to the end of the school day the rest of this semester and going to school on April 26th (originally a day off), we will be able to finish school at the original planned date of May 28th. We will start adding the 10 minutes this Thursday. Our new release times will be MTTHF at 3:30 and our Wednesday release will be at 2:20. We will still take our President's Day Holiday, Spring Break, and Good Friday Holiday. Thank you.

Our food service team works hard to prepare nutritional meals for all students. Student accounts that are in the negative need to be paid to help continue the district’s ability to serve high quality meals. You can find your student’s account balance by downloading the EZSchoolPay App and signing up or calling
the Administration Office (870)357-8108. If you are new to the EZSchoolPay App, you will need your student’s ID number which any district office can supply. We need your help to continue providing meals at the low rates offered by eliminating the large percentage of negative balances.
