Due to the low amount of students that we have had ride the bus the past couple of days, we will not be running buses in the morning. If you want to bring your student to school you are very welcome to and we will take students home in the afternoon if they need a ride. Thank you!

For our parents that live in the district that either currently homeschool or are considering homeschool. The Woodlawn School Board approved partnering with the Arkansas River Cooperative to provide a virtual option for any students. This is a flexible option for students and parents that would allow for their students to receive daily instruction from certified teachers from your home. Woodlawn Schools would provide a Chromebook and your student would still have the same rights and privileges of of WSD student (prom, sports, graduation, etc...). This will be available to all of our students K-12. There is a brief informational video attached and if you have any further questions please contact the school at (870)357-8171. If you are interested in this option please fill out the google form on the attached link.

Correction:
We just found out we had been given misleading information formation concerning where you can vote today. You will be able to vote on both the millage and the school board election. However you will have to vote at the assigned polling place corresponding with the precinct you live in. The attached image is the correct voting information.
We apologize for the confusion and hope everyone can make it out to vote today!

It's Election Day! Before you go out to Graduation tonight please vote in the school's special election. Remember we have the millage request on the ballot along with an at-large school board position between Larry Reynolds and Tre Moore. You can vote at Pleasant Ridge MBC in Randall, Center MBC in Rowell, or Union UMC in Rye!

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make this past weekends Regional Tournament a success! There is such a long list that there is no way I can name everyone but I wanted to you to know that without our Booster Club workers, our coaches, our faculty (who gave up their off-time to work parking, tickets and t-shirts), our board members, and our community members who were willing to give up their time, this weekend would not have been the success it was. I hope all of you are able to relax and enjoy being a spectator at the State Tournament this week! This yet again reinforces for me that we have something special at Woodlawn and when it matters most we always have people willing to step up for our students and our school!! Thank you and GO BEARS!!
