🎓 Attention Senior Parents & Guardians! 🎓 We have a couple of major dates to get on your calendar as we get ready to kick off senior year for the Class of 2027! Please read carefully for details regarding an upcoming meeting and an important change for senior pictures. 🗓️ 1. Senior Parent Meeting Date: Thursday, August 6, 2026 Time: 6:00 PM Location: 📍 Woodlawn High School Gym We will be going over crucial information to help you and your student navigate senior year smoothly. We hope to see you there! 📸 2. Senior Portrait Day & New Lifetouch Policy Senior Portrait Day is scheduled for Tuesday, August 18, 2026. ⏰ Time: Seniors will be assigned a specific appointment time during the school day. (The full schedule will be shared prior to picture day!) ⚠️ Important Change: Lifetouch has updated its policy. School portrait sessions will only include cap & gown and formal tux/drape portraits. Casual portraits will no longer be offered during the school day. Want Casual Senior Photos? You are welcome to schedule casual portraits independently. We understand this is a change from previous years and truly appreciate your flexibility as we adjust to Lifetouch's new procedures.

Be sure to register your students online! If you need to find your SNAP code it should have been emailed to you on July 1st. (Be sure to check spam for @powerschool.com). If you cannot find the email contact the High School office. Registration needs to be completed along with all additional forms (check the parent portal page) in order to get your schedule, homeroom, or parking spot. If you are attending graduation tonight, we will be sectioning off the area directly in front on of gym for our handicap guests. The crosswalk at the high school will be open so we encourage everyone to use the student, elementary, football, and baseball parking areas. Thank you!

Schedule Update! Woodlawn Schools will be closed on Thursday, May 21st, using our banked minutes. We will be on our regular schedule on Wednesday, May 20th, and will take all of our semester tests that day. There will still be a make-up day on Friday, May 22nd. WSD will not run buses after Wednesday, May 20th. We hope to see you in Hot Springs Thursday! Go Bears!!!

We have a lot going on this week so just to keep everyone up to date: May 18 - High School Awards Grades 7-11 at 9:00 am in the Gym May 19 - Elementary Awards Grades K-3 at 9:00 am in the Gym, Grades 4-6 at 1:00 pm in the Gym, High School Graduation at 7:00 pm in the Gym May 20 - Semester Test Begin (High School) May 21 - Baseball & Softball state championship games in Hot Springs May 22 - Last Day of School! Congratulations to our Lady Bears on advancing to the State Championship! They win 8-4 over Riverside. Way to go Lady Bears!!!

Bears win 3-2!!! They advance to the 2A State Championship game. Way to go Bears!!!

Good Luck to our Bears and Lady Bears today in the semifinals of the state tournament!!! Both teams are playing against the Riverside Rebels. Baseball plays @ 12:00 and softball plays @ 2:30. Both games will be at Palestine-Wheatley High School. Let's Go Woodlawn!!!!

We are excited to celebrate the Class of 2026 and are especially happy to have graduation back on the Woodlawn High School campus where it has traditionally been held. Due to the projected weather forecast, this year’s graduation ceremony will be held in the gym. Doors will open at 6:15 PM, and the ceremony will begin at 7:00 PM. To help ensure our graduates have a clear and special entrance, the gym doors will briefly close at 6:55 PM while graduates march in and take their seats. Doors will reopen immediately afterward. This short pause is simply to allow our graduates to enter without crowd congestion and to give family and friends the opportunity to clearly see and celebrate them as they begin this important milestone moment. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation and look forward to celebrating our graduates together

Lady Bears win 3-0 over Cotter!! They advance to the semifinals of the State Tournament! They will play tomorrow at 2:30 and the game will be at Palestine-Wheatley High School. Go Lady Bears!!!
